Starting A New Orleans Carpet Cleaning Company- Nola Carpet Cleaning
A Story about Starting a New Orleans Carpet Cleaning Company / Nola Carpet Cleaning
It was getting late and I had a two hour drive back to New Orleans so I started bringing my deer hunting story to an end. I looked across the room at the 70 year old strong man sitting in his favorite chair and asked him, " Dad why Carpet Cleaning?". He paused for a minute then he replied with a chuckle "Son...why not"? we then both laughed and I got up and hugged him and I was on my way. My dad had started his company almost 40 years ago with the dream of providing for his fast growing family of 10, and with his hard work and my Moms Natural Sales Ability they turned a small mom and pop business in to a nationwide carpet cleaning company.Over the next 20 years Carpet Cleaning was very good to us though we were not rich we were always happy and enjoyed a home full of love. I have owned several companies in my short 35 years and made some pretty decent money but I never dreamed I would be un-employed. I thank God my father taught me the right way to clean carpets and how to run a successful carpet cleaning business. The money, Its not quiet as much as some of my other business ventures but its certainly less stressful and you know what I LOVE THIS BUSINESS. So I agree dad... WHY NOT?

Cleaning Juice Spills out of Carpet
The best way to clean Grape, Apple, Orange or any other Natural Juice out of a carpet.
1. It is imperative that you act as quickly as possible to remove as much of the juice as possible. Blot is out with a towel or sponge and get as much of it as possible. This will go a long way toward a successful removal and salvage of your rug or carpet.
2. When you have gotten all of the juice out of the carpet or rug douse the effected area with salt, simple table salt. Salt will act as an absorbent to remove more of the spilled liquid. You will even see the salt began to take on the color of the liquid.
3. Wait for at least 10 minutes to allow the salt to do its thing then vacuum the salt up very carefully and get as much of it as possible.
4. Apply WHITE VINEGAR to the stain by wetting a clean towel pretty generously. Blot the stain with the vinegar soaked towel. Have a clean dry towel ready to blot up the vinegar and repeat this process 3 times.
5. This should do it. If any of the stain remains take a clean towel and wet it just so that it is not dripping from the towel and place it on the stain and then apply a standard household iron to the effected area a force steam into the stain. After steaming the stain for about 45 seconds blot the stain with a clean towel and you stain will be removed.
6. After allowing the area to dry completely vacuum the area to re-fluff the area. Good luck!!!!
